Dreamlike growth rates
The work of our evangelists leads to growth rates in terms of »spiritual babies« that would be the envy of any national economy.
We support numerous Ethiopians who take the Good News to their countrymen. The evangelists, many with Orthodox or Muslim background, are highly motivated. What drives them to their hardship-filled task is the personally experienced love of God and the love for their people. Mostly traveling on foot, they are sometimes separated from their families for months. They reach thousands in remote areas who have never heard of Jesus. What they and the Ethiopian churches accomplish is impressive. Every year, dozens of new churches are planted.
With the existing sponsorships, we can currently finance 160 full-time evangelists along with their families. We promote cooperation and exchange among the evangelists and organize an annual conference where they receive new impulses and fresh courage.
