With the help of German experts, the community center of our partner congregation in Tiberias has been technically upgraded. Work on the electrical system, sound system, and fire safety measures now makes it possible to hold larger events under better conditions.
However, as the situation continues to escalate, this is only possible to a limited extent. Larger worship services are no longer taking place; instead, only small-group meetings are held. The number of participants is determined by the capacity of the shelter.
A youth camp in the Golan Heights was also able to take place under heightened security measures and became an encouraging time of fellowship for the young people.
These developments highlight how important the continuous presence and support of local partners is in enabling church work even under difficult conditions.
